CHICKEN NOODLE CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1 chicken, cooked and boned 1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese 1 can sliced mushrooms 1 (16 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained Cook and bone chicken, save broth. Cut chicken into bite-size pieces and mix with Velveeta cheese, cut into small chunks and can of drained mushrooms. Add noodles to mixture. Make thickening of 2 tablespoons melted butter, 4 tablespoon flour, 6 tablespoon milk, and 2 cup chicken broth. Pour over mixture and put into 9x13 inch cake pan. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. You can add more chicken broth, if it looks dry. |
