1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. applesauce
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
2 c. raisins, drenched in flour
1 c. nuts
1 or 2 pkgs. orange slice candy

Cream butter and sugar. Add spices and eggs; beat together. Dissolve soda in small amount of warm water. Add to applesauce; combine mixture. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. In 9x13 pan bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
