YUMMY YAM APPLES 
8 lg. yams
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 lg. apples, sliced
4 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. minced pecans
50 miniature marshmallows

Slice apples with peel on. Saute a few minutes in butter; set aside.

Boil yams in skins until tender. Cool and peel. Slice 4 yams in buttered casserole. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar on yams. Layer half of apples and butter on yams. Continue layering with cinnamon, sugar, and pecans. Bake 20 minutes at 325 degrees. Add marshmallows and bake until slightly brown.
