CONGO SQUARES 
1 box brown sugar, remove lumps
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3 eggs, beaten
2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt chips and butter together. Mix brown sugar and eggs. Add flour to above. Then vanilla and nuts. Bake in greased pan 40 minutes at 325 degrees. Let cool before cutting into squares.
