GOLDEN GLOW PICKLES | |
2 dozen cucumbers, peeled 2 qt. onions 2 heads cauliflower Soak in 1/2 cup salt overnight. Wash in morning twice in cold water. 1 qt. vinegar Boil 10 minutes. Add cucumbers, onion, and cauliflower and cook another 10 minutes after it starts to boil; stir often. Thicken with: 1 tbsp. turmeric 1 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. salt Cook until thickened. Add to vegetables and sugar ingredients; put in jars hot and seal. |
