SAUSAGE - CHEDDAR QUICHE | |
1 pastry (9 inch) deep dish 1 lb. sausage (hot) 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 1 tsp. parsley 1/2 tsp. whole basil leaves Dash of garlic 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese Paprika Cook sausage until browned, drain well. Combine sausage with mushrooms, onion, green pepper, parsley, basil leaves, garlic and salt. Spoon into pastry shell and top with cheese. Beat together eggs and milk. Pour evenly over cheese, sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until quiche is set. |
