SAUSAGE QUICHE (BREAKFAST
CASSEROLE)
 
10 slices of day old bread, or enough to cover the bottom
of a 9 1/2 x 13 1/2 inch pan
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
1 lb. sausage, cooked, crumbled and well drained

Butter or spray bottom of pan. Layer pan with slices of bread. Sprinkle on the cheese, add eggs, and milk beaten together. Sprinkle on the sausage. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. This can be mixed a day or so ahead and refrigerate and baked later.
