CAROL'S CREME DE MENTHE BROWNIES 
BOTTOM LAYER:

Use Betty Crocker brownie mix with syrup. Bake in 13 x 9 inch pan (non-glass) according to directions.

MIDDLE LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. creme de menthe (green)

Mix and spread over cold brownies. Set in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

TOP LAYER:

1 c. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Melt completely. Stir well with fork or wire whisk. Pour and spread over middle layer. Chill in refrigerator. Cut into squares. Let brownies sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate leftovers in covered container.
