KOSHER DILL 
1 qt. vinegar
2 qts. water
3/4 c. salt
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. alum

Put all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Put pickles in until they change color. Remove and put in jars and put dill in bottom of jars. Pour mixture over pickles and seal.
