CUCUMBER RELISH 
12 lg. cucumbers, sliced thin (don't peel)
2-3 onions, sliced thin

To each gallon of cucumber and onion cover with water and add 1/4 cup salt. Let stand 1 hour or so (drain).

3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. turmeric
Some stick cinnamon

Add cucumbers and onions and boil until clear around edges, approximately 10 minutes. Put in sterilized jars and seal while hot. These are good.
