APPLE PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 c. coarsely chopped apples (Golden Delicious is best)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 (10 inch) pie shell

Mix flour, sugar, spices together. Add eggs, butter, and vanilla. Stir in apples. Let stand while preparing pie shell. Pour in shell and bake 425 degrees for 15 minutes and then lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes more or until done.
