TURKEY CHOWDER 
2 strips bacon
2 c. chopped onion
4 c. diced potatoes
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. cooked chopped turkey
2 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cook bacon by microwave (use meat rack) until crisp, reserving 1/4 cup drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. In 3 quart casserole cook onion in reserved drippings 3-4 minutes on high setting. Add potatoes, chicken broth and salt. Cover, cook on high for 10 minutes. Reduce power level to medium high. Cook additional 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add turkey, cream, pepper and crumbled bacon. Cook 5 to 7 minutes on high or until heated.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
