BAKED STUFFED POTATOES | |
Baking potatoes butter Cream or milk Salt and pepper to taste Scrub potatoes and bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until tender. Do not wrap potatoes. Stick with fork several times before baking. Cut potatoes in half, scoop out potatoes, leaving about 1/4 inch shell (leave enough so that shell will not tear). Mash pulp. For each potato add 1 tablespoons butter, melted or softened and 1 to 2 tablespoons cream or milk. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pile lightly in shell. If desired, sprinkle with paprika, grated cheese, garlic salt or chives. Before serving, bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes if refrigerated or 40 minutes or until heated and lightly browned if frozen. Will keep in refrigerator 1 to 2 days, in freezer up to 1 month. |
