LUCY'S CHESS PIE 
8 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
3 tsp. corn meal
1 tsp. vanilla or nutmeg

Cream butter and sugar together, add well beaten egg yolks and milk, add meal and vanilla. Cook in a double boiler until it thickens. Put in uncooked pastry shells and cook 40 minutes in 350 degree oven. This makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
