SAVORY LASAGNA 
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 tsp. basil
2/3 tsp. thyme
1 1/4 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. parsley
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
Lasagna noodles (uncooked)
1 c. mozzarella cheese
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese
Parmesan cheese (enough to sprinkle)
16 oz. carton dry cottage cheese
8 oz. sour cream

Brown meat and onions with salt and garlic salt. Drain excess grease and add tomato sauce and soup. Mix in all the spices and the mushrooms. Simmer for one hour. Spray a 13 x 9 inch pan or two 9 inch square pans with Pam. Begin with meat sauce then place noodles on top. Mix together cheese and sour cream. On top of noodles, spread cheese. Layer again with meat sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, ending with meat sauce. Sprinkle with small amount of mozzarella, cheddar and Parmesan cheeses. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Deliciously different!
