GRASSHOPPER PIE | |
1 Crumb Pie Shell 24 lg. marshmallows 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. creme de menthe 3 tbsp. white creme de cocoa 1 1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped Make crumb mixture as recipe directs. Reserve 2 tablespoons crumbs for top. Press remainder into 9 inch pie plate and cook as recipe directs. Cool. Place marshmallow and milk in 3 quart casserole. Place in microwave oven and heat about 3 minutes until marshmallow can be blended with milk. Chill 30-40 minutes. Stir creme de menthe and creme de cocoa into cooled marshmallow mixture. Fold in cream. Pour into crust and decorate with reserved chocolate cookie crumbs. Freeze or refrigerate until serving. CRUMB PIE SHELL: 1 1/4 c. fine chocolate wafer cookie crumbs 1/4 c. melted butter 2 tbsp. sugar Blend crumbs with sugar and butter; press firmly into 9 inch pie plate. Microwave 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, turning 1/4 turn after minute. |
