VANILLA CUSTARD ICE CREAM 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 beaten eggs
2 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 tbsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over low heat until thick. Add small amount of hot mixture to eggs; mix well and return to hot mixture. Cook and stir 1 minute. Chill. Stir in cream and vanilla. Freeze in ice cream freezer following manufacturer's directions. Makes 1 1/4 quarts.
