VANILLA CUSTARD ICE CREAM 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 tbsp. vanilla extract

Combine sugar, flour and salt, gradually stir in milk, cook and stir over low heat until thick. Add small amount of hot mixture to eggs, mix well and return to hot mixture. Cook and stir 1 minute. Chill, stir in cream and vanilla. Freeze. Makes 1 1/4 quarts.
