4 c. old fashioned oats 1/2 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. raw sunflower seeds 1/2 c. almonds 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. shredded coconut 1/2 c. honey 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. vegetable oil 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. sliced dates 1/2 c. chocolate chips Mix dry ingredients except dried fruit and coconut and chocolate chips. Mix honey, vanilla, oil and water in small bowl. Pour over dry mixture. Mix well with large spoon. Spread mixture evenly in greased (or oiled) 15x10x2 inch pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour; stir about every 10-15 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Stir in dried fruit, coconut and chocolate chips when thoroughly cool. Store in airtight container. Great for cereal or for snacking. |
