NILLA CINNAMON APPLE PIE 
1 3/4 c. Nilla cinnamon wafer crumbs
3/4 c. butter, melted
6 tbsp. sugar
4 c. sliced baking apples
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. light brown sugar

Mix 1 1/4 cups wafer crumbs, 6 tablespoons melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar; press on bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate. Set aside. In skillet, over medium heat, cook apples in 2 tablespoons butter until tender. Stir in remaining sugar and lemon juice; cook 2-3 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Spoon apple mixture in prepared crust; set aside. Mix remaining wafer crumbs, butter, walnuts, and brown sugar; sprinkle evenly over apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
