NO - COOK CHERRY DESSERT 
1 stick butter, softened
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1/2 pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 can cherry pie filling or other fruit pie filling
1 c. whipped cream

Cream together very well the butter, sugar, and eggs. In large, flat dish, layer about 3/4 of the wafers. Pour batter over the wafers, then add the pie filling. Spread on top the whipped cream and then sprinkle the rest of the crushed wafers on top. Chill and serve.
