BROWNIE BRICKLE BARS 
1/2 c. butter
2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. almond brickle pieces
1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

In saucepan cook and stir butter and chocolate over low heat until melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beat lightly with a wooden spoon just until combined. Don't over beat, brownies will rise too high; then fall. Stir in flour. Spread batter into greased 8"x8"x2" pan. Sprinkle almond brickle pieces and chocolate chips evenly over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool brownies in pan on a wire rack. Cut into 16 bars.
