SAUTEED BANANAS WITH ICE CREAM &
SWEET PAN SAUCE

This makes a delicious and healthy dessert for the WHOLE family!!!

bananas
vanilla ice cream (or your favorite)

PAN SAUCE:

1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
small drop of lemon juice

In a saucepan, melt half a stick of butter (also 1/4 cup) between low and medium. Once all done melting, and all liquid, add brown sugar, cinnamon and a drop of lemon juice (not a lot at all - just to bring out the flavors or all the ingredients). Break up the brown sugar crumbles and let simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes (no longer).

Note: Make sure all crumbles are broken up, and everything is liquid now.

SAUTEING BANANAS:

Turn stove to medium heat and pour 1/4 of pan sauce into a new pan. Then cut each banana into thirds (your choice). Put the bananas in the sauce, and after about 3 or 4 minutes.. flip 'em!

TO SERVE:

Scoop vanilla (your choice) ice cream and place in serving bowl. Then top ice cream with sautéed bananas. And pour rest of pan sauce over ice cream and bananas!

Enjoy!!! :)
