GREAT AUNT EMAS BUTTER COOKIES | |
1 lb. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 2 egg yolks Salt 1 tsp. vanilla 4 1/4 c. flour Add everything as listed and slowly add flour. If you have a dough hook on mixer, use it when you do this or when mixer works hard, take off and mix rest of flour by hand. Roll into small walnut size balls and press with a fork. Time: 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Yield: 100 cookies. Recipe can be halved. This is wonderful as it is but can add 1/2 cup finely ground pecans or black walnuts. |
