MOM'S FRESH APPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cinnamon
3 c. raw apples, finely chopped
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Cream sugar, eggs, and oil together. Sift together flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix with first 3 ingredients. Add apples, vanilla, and pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes in 9 x 13 inch pan.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. canned milk

Cook 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake.
