BEEF MEXICANA 
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 lb. beef
2 tsp. shortening
28 oz. can tomato sauce
1 can whole kernel corn
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 chili powder

Fry onion in hot fat until tender - add beef - cook and stir until lightly browned. Stir in tomato sauce, corn and seasoning. Simmer about 30 minutes. Good served with rice.

Add cooked elbow macaroni to this recipe. This is what my mom used to make ALOT growing up as a kid. I used to complain about it. As a mom I get it! Sorry mom, for being such a little brat. 😞️
