CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Put butter, cocoa and water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients, then add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Put mixture in a greased and floured pan (13 by 9 by 2 inch). Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 or 35 minutes. Be sure to mix this up with a spoon. Do NOT use a mixer.

FILLING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. buttermilk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. nuts (optional)

Bring butter, cocoa and buttermilk to a boil. Remove from heat. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Ice cake as soon as you take it out of oven.
