PUMPKIN CAKE/FRENCH ICING 
Cake:

4 eggs
2 c sugar
1 can pumpkin
1 1/2 cups crisco oil
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Frosting:

2 tbsp water
4 1/2 tbsp sugar
2 1/3 cups confectioners sugar
1 egg
2/3 c crisco
1 tsp vanilla

CAKE: Mix eggs, sugar, pumpkin and oil together. Sift in dry ingredients and mix well.

Bake at 350°F until center springs back to the touch.

FROSTING: Boil water and granulated sugar together for a few minutes. Add conf. sugar and egg in separate dish. Blend in syrup. Add crisco and vanilla. Beat till creamy.
