FRENCH CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 c. cocoa
3/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
3 egg whites

Dissolve cocoa in hot water and cool. Cream butter and sugar. Add cocoa mixture and vanilla, baking soda mixed with sour cream. Fold in flour and salt sifted four times. Fold in egg whites. Bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool before removing from pan.
