CANDY BAR COOKIES | |
1 c. butter, softened 1 c. extra crunchy peanut butter 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 14-16 oz. size SNICKERS® miniature candy bars, cut into small pieces CHOCOLATE GLAZE: 1 c. sifted powdered sugar 2 tbsp. Hershey's cocoa 1 tbsp. or more of milk or cold coffee In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; add to peanut butter mixture, beating until combined. For each cookie, shape a rounded tablespoon of dough around a piece of candy, forming a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Frost with Chocolate Glaze. Makes about 60 cookies. Chocolate Glaze -- Combine powdered and the Hershey's cocoa. Add either milk or cold coffee (whichever you prefer) to make a spreading consistency. |
