BEER BATTERED FRIED PICKLES | |
1 cup all-purpose flour 1 1/4 tbsp. Mrs. Dash Steak Seasoning 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. black pepper 1 (12 oz.) bottle beer (optional, may use water instead) 2 dashes hot sauce 7 dill spears vegetable oil, for frying Before preparation, heat vegetable oil in deep pan. 1. Mix flour, Mrs. Dash, salt and pepper in large mixing bowl. 2. In separate bowl stir beer and 2 dashes of hot sauce. 3. Lightly dry pickles with paper towel. 4. Dip in beer mixture then in dry mix. 5. Repeat step four. Pickles should only be dipped into each mixture twice! 6. Using metal utensil, place pickles in hot oil for 25 to 30 seconds. 7. Remove promptly, and place on paper towel to soak excess oil. 8. Enjoy with dip of choice! Submitted by: Stephen Walker |
