B B Q BEEF RIBS 
3 lb. beef short ribs
Paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
1 med. onion
1 1/2 tbsp. dark brown sugar

Remove as much fat as possible from ribs. Sprinkle with paprika. In a heavy skillet, brown ribs on all sides, put into a casserole. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over ribs, cover tightly. Bake in a 350 degree oven, until tender, about 2 hours. Skim off any excess fat, or chill, remove any hardened fat and reheat. Flavor is at its best after reheating. If necessary, add a little water during baking. Serve with rice. Serves 4.

I always add more water and double the batch, then freeze some.
