BARBECUED BEEF RIBS 
2 lbs. lean beef ribs
1/4 c. peach preserves
1/2 c. water
Juice of 1 lemon
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. paprika
Freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Place the ribs on a rack in a shallow pan and roast in a 450 degree oven for 30 minutes.

In a small saucepan, combine all other ingredients and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Set sauce aside.

Remove the ribs and rack and pour off the fat. Reduce oven heat to 350 degrees. Return ribs to pan and pour the sauce over them. Bake, uncovered basting occasionally until ribs are tender, about 1 hour. Yield: 4 servings. Approximately 335 calories per serving.
