TURNIP PUFF | |
4 c. mashed cooked turnips 2 c. soft bread crumbs 1/2 c. butter, melted 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 4 eggs, slightly beaten Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Spoon into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and brush the top with a little additional melted butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Turnips may be prepared ahead but do not freeze. Serves 8. |
