LAYERED SPINACH SALAD 
2 to 3 bunches fresh spinach
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. boiled ham, cut into strips
1 red Bermuda onion, thinly sliced
1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed but not cooked
1/2 c. Swiss cheese, cut into strips
1/2 c. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 c. sour cream
1 pt. real mayonnaise

In a large salad bowl (not too deep), put layer of spinach, onion, peas and ham. Cover with dressing. Repeat the layering, covering each with dressing.

Dressing recipe consists of sour cream, salt, pepper and sugar. Sprinkle bacon bits on top.

This recipe may vary to include shrimp and/or crab in the layers.
