BROWNIE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sour milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Add 1 tablespoon vinegar to make sour milk.

Melt together shortening and 1 1/2 squares chocolate. Add sugar, milk, egg and vanilla; blend well. Add dry ingredients to mixture. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour. Drop from teaspoon on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Spread on glaze while warm.

CHOCOLATE GLAZE: Melt together 1/2 square chocolate and 2 tablespoons butter. Blend in 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon hot water and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
