1 box Duncan Hines cake mix without pudding
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. box Jello vanilla pudding mix
1 sm. (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 pkg. frozen coconut

Cook cake, punch holes in it. Mix pineapple with sugar and spread over cake. Cook pudding until done, pour over cake and pineapple. When cool, add Cool Whip and coconut. Add cherries and nuts, if you want them.
