1 yellow cake mix - mix according to directions and bake in a greased and floured 11 x 16 inch jelly roll pan. Watch carefully - bakes faster than regular cake pan. While cake is baking, combine and boil for five minutes - 1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple and 1 cup sugar. Punch holes in baked cake and pour pineapple mixture over it. Let cool.
Mix 1 package instant vanilla pudding according to directions and add 8 ounces softened cream cheese - pour over cooled cake. Sprinkle with coconut - top with sliced bananas - cover with Cool Whip. Garnish with chopped nuts. Refrigerate. Very rich and good!! Serves 20.
