MILKY WAY® WONDER CAKE | |
13 fun-size or 8 reg. size (1 3/4 oz.) MILKY WAY® candy bars 1 c. softened butter 2 c. cane sugar 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 c. buttermilk or milk you have soured with vinegar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts if desired Melt candy bars and 1/2 cup butter. Beat the remaining 1/2 cup butter and sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Add the flour and baking soda alternately with the buttermilk and stir well until smooth. Add the melted candy mixture and stir in the vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and twenty minutes or until the top springs back when touched lightly with fingertips. (Top will be very dark.) Cook on wire rack for 10 minutes and remove from pan and cool completely before frosting. |
