RHUBARB DESSERT | |
4 c. cut-up rhubarb 1 c. sugar 1 pkg. white cake mix (dry) 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello (dry) 1/3 c. butter 1 c. hot water Spray 9 x 13 inch GLASS cake pan with "Pam". Layer ingredients in order given. Pour 1 cup hot water over all. Top with 1/3 cup melted butter, drizzled over top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes OR LESS just so top is slightly browned. VARIATION: Equal amounts (4 cups) fresh or canned peaches (drained) in place of rhubarb. Very good! |
