CORN FRITTERS 
1 (16 oz.) can whole corn, drained
2 c. biscuit mix
1 egg
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients just until blended in a medium size bowl. Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve while hot with butter and syrup.
