PORTABELLA MUSHROOMS | |
Makes a great appetizer! 2 large portabella mushrooms 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 2 tbsp. minced garlic (or 4 fresh minced cloves) 2 to 4 oz. real bacon bits (Hormel) finely shredded Mozzarella cheese, for sprinkling Wash the mushrooms and cut in thin strips (1/4-inch). Melt butter with minced garlic in large skillet until garlic is slightly brown. Add mushrooms and then bacon bits to taste. Cook and stir until mushrooms are soft and tender. Scoop onto a plate and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. ENJOY! Submitted by: JL |
