BOOZE BAKED BEANS 
1/2 lb. sliced bacon
2 (1 lb., 15 oz.) cans of pork and beans
2 tsp. dry mustard (or French's mustard)
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. strong coffee
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. bourbon
Pineapple, if you wish
Finely chopped onion, if you wish

Cut some bacon in 2 inch pieces. Fry and drain. Combine beans, mustard, ginger, sugar, coffee and bacon. Top with slices of bacon that cover the 13 x 9 inch casserole. Bake in 250 degree oven for 2 hours - uncovered. Remove. If you top with bacon, stir in bourbon before - if you don't top with bacon you can take beans out of oven, stir in bourbon, bake another 1/2 hour.
