TEXAS BAKED BEANS 
2 lg. cans pork and beans
1 c. catsup
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. liquid smoke
1 tsp. seasoned salt
3 tbsp. butter
1 sm. green bell pepper, chopped
1 sm. onion, chopped
6 slices bacon (slice 3 strips in sm. pieces)

In skillet, melt butter. Add 3 slices of cut up bacon, bell pepper and onion. Saute until bacon is light brown; then add catsup, brown sugar, honey, liquid smoke and seasoned salt. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stir often.

Meanwhile, pour beans in a baking dish and pour prepared sauce over beans. Top with bacon. Cook in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until bacon on top is brown.
