CHERRY JELLO CAKE 
CAKE:

1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
1 box white cake mix
1 c. melted butter
1 sm. box cherry Jello
1/2 c. boiling water
4 eggs

TOPPING:

Juice from cherries
2 c. sugar

Drain cherries, save juice. Chop cherries. Mix cake mix and Jello. Add butter and boiling water. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add cherries. Pour into greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

TOPPING: Add enough water to juice to make 1 cup. Mix with sugar and boil to syrup stage (234 degrees). Pour over cake as soon as it comes from oven.
