1 box light brown sugar 2 c. self-rising flour 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 stick butter, softened 1 sm. can coconut (3 1/2 c.) 1 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan. In large bowl, mix brown sugar and butter that has been softened at room temperature. Add flour and vanilla to sugar and butter. Beat well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Cake will look soft and undone. Cool well before cutting into 24 squares. |
