PINEAPPLE CREAM TORTE 
1 yellow Jiffy cake mix
1 egg
1/2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
1/2 c. milk
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 1/4 c. milk
1 lg. can pineapple chunks, cut up or crushed, drained well
1 med. Cool Whip

Mix cake mix, egg and water. Put in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake until done. Do not overbake. Approximately 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

While cake is baking, beat well cream cheese and 1/2 cup milk. Set aside.

Beat instant pudding and 1 1/4 cups milk, and then add to cream cheese mixture. Beat together and spread over cooled cake.

Spread pineapple over above mixture, then spread Cool Whip over pineapple. You may sprinkle nuts or cherry pieces on top if desired.
