BLOND BROWNIES 
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, and egg. Blend well. Add pecans. Bake in 8 x 8 inch pan at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Double recipe and cook in 13 x 5 x 5/8 inch pan.
