FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 baked pie shell
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 qt. fresh strawberries

Wash and hull strawberries. Save 3 cups nicest berries to put in shell.

Crush 1 cup strawberries. Combine in medium saucepan with 1 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons cornstarch. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened and clear. Cool sauce partially. Spread softened cream cheese in baked pie shell. Arrange whole berries on top of cream cheese. Carefully pour filling over berries in shell. Chill until ready to serve.
