PEPPER STEAK 
2 lbs. sirloin tip/top round
1/2 c. butter
Garlic powder
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 green peppers, sliced or squares
1 lb. canned tomatoes with juice
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar

Cut meat into 3/4 to 1 inch strips. Melt butter in fry pan. Add garlic powder to taste. Add meat and brown about 10 minutes. Remove meat and add onions and pepper to pan. Cook vegetables about 10 minutes.

Return meat to pan. Add tomatoes and bouillon cube. Cook slowly, covered, 45 minutes. Combine water, cornstarch, soy sauce and sugar. Add to meat, turn up heat to thicken. Serve with broad noodles, rice or Duchess potatoes.
